The architecture office Studio Neue Museen brought us to the project to create a large wall painting to complement the playfully redesigned permanent exhibition of Luther's parental home in Mansfeld for the Luther Memorial Foundation Saxony-Anhalt. The focus of our mural "The Last Judgement" is the religious influences of the young Luther. The result is a triptych that contains St. George, the patron saint of Mansfeld, the Last Judgment with purgatory and St. Christopher, the patron saint of all travelers.

When designing the exhibition, the Studio Neue Museen focused particularly on a child's exhibition experience. In the exhibition "I am a Mansfeld child," children can understand the games and work of their peers at Luther's time and become fascinated by the many exciting stories around 1500 AD.
